Orphaned Child from Uganda

Libby Airey attended Sunday School at our church when she was a child, and has returned during her final years at University. She plans to spend several months after she completes her studies this year, working with AOET, helping orphaned children in Uganda.

For more information you can look at the talk that Libby gave in church recently.  It is available as a Powerpoint presentation with the text included, or as a video showing the slides with Libby speaking:

In order to help raise awareness and money for this cause, several activities were organised to support Libby. We were pleased to be above to contribute $2000 and other goods to this cause by the time Libby left at the end of November. You can follow her journey by regularly looking at her blog.

Indonesia

For many years we have provided support to Graham and Elizabeth Cocks who served as missionaries in Indonesia through OMF (Overseas Missionary Felowship). They have recently returned to Australia and are are currently living in Sydney with their two children.

Papua New Guinea

Poro and Anna Renagi and their three children are from Papua New Guinea and have been with us since 2004. Poro has been studying in Brisbane, but he and his family will return to PNG at the end of 2005. We hope to establish links with their church in PNG when they return.
