Worship

Our worship services are aimed at an all-age family audience, and based on based on material from Scripture Union called Light. The Sunday Club use material from the same series that is geared for the child's age group. The material follows a few different themes each quarter.

We make use of contemporary music, drama, video and other audio visuals to emphasise the message and make it relevant to a 21st century congregration. We have made use short readings from "Harry Potter", clips from "Finding Nemo" and other material that relate to the theme.

Singing in Worship Service

Music and singing is an important part of our worship services. While we make use of a lot of contemporary christian music, we also recognise the rich heritage we have in the older hymns. You can hear the music from any of the recordings of the services, and the following list gives you an idea of the range of music we use.

The children usually spend the first half of the service in church, and there will often be a story, song or video aimed specifically at them. During the second half of the service, they will usually go to Sunday Club, and meet up with their parents after the service.

Services are held every Sunday at 9:00am for a bit over an hour. Extra services are held at Easter and Chirstmas - details of these services are available in the calendar. Contact details and maps are also available to help you find us.
